ULM CROSS COUNTRY RUNS IN NCAA REGIONAL

WACO, Texas--- The ULM cross country season concluded Saturday as the Warhawks competed in the NCAA South Central Regional Saturday at the Cottonwood Golf Course in Waco, Texas. Senior men\'s standout Maya Aden led the way finishing 27th.


Aden completed the 10-kilometer race in 31:25.8, which placed him 27th out of 123 runners. This is the all-Sun Belt Conference performer\'s best career finish in a regional. His previous best came in 2003 when he finished 51st with a time of 33:04.00.


Junior all-Sun Belt runner Amy Harris was the top finisher in the women\'s 6K race for the Warhawks. She finished 60th with a time 22.50.3. She improved ten spots over her 2005 regional performance where she finished 70th (24:17.75). Juniors Jessica Baldino and Amanda Bartlett finished 63rd (22:54.5) and 77th (23:19.0) respectively. This was Baldino\'s first career regional. Bartlett finished 63rd (24:04.60) in 2005.
