The ladies from Allen had a nice day in the sand pits, taking 1-2 in the Triple with 7th grader Tosin Alao continuing to make her mark on this indoor season.

From McKinney North, Julien Deboskie was the top Texas finisher in the boys 400m. Nearly breaking 50s by clocking a 50.45 good for 2nd place.

Duke City All Comers

Two guys made their presence felt in New Mexico this weekend. The first was Paulo Benavides, clearing his new PB 17'6.5" in the Pole Vault, and working his way into the US #1 spot.

The second was Norman Grimes. After putting in solid performances at the A&M Classic in his 1st ever indoor meet, he came back at Arkansas and used that experience to drop major times. He's not done yet. Grimes keeps making huge improvements each meet. He ran the 400m at Duke City in a US #4 48.5. He also took over the US #1 spot in the 60H by just 1/100th of a second by shaving .2s off his time for the second week in a row in 7.82.
