In the first round of the 100H, Alexis Duncan annihilated the competition! The Desoto State Champion has been in a world of her own this season and continues her hot streak! While the hurdles are at a lower height than the HS standard, she ran a new World Youth leading time of 13.13! Can we see the hurdle star break 13.00!?

Another State Champ hit the track today! 400m standout Keshun Reed left no doubts to why he leads the state and is 3rd in the Nation in this event! He didn't hold back, torching his heat in a 46.98. After posting his 5th sub 47s 400m of the season, Reed leaves with the 2nd fastest time behind fellow Team USA athlete Josephus Lyles!

Norman Hurdlemaster Grimes easily advances out of his heat in the 400H, and does it in style! Running the 2nd best World Youth 400H time in 2015! With a faster time over the higher HS hurdles, Grimes looks to be in good form as he heads to the next round.

The boys shot put is still only halfway done, but after his 2nd throw Adrian Piperi dropped a BOMB at 22.00m to take the lead in the competition AND the overall World Youth Lead in the shot put!

He wasn't done there! Piperi came back and threw 22.00m AGAIN! Becoming a WORLD CHAMPION! We all know that Texas is the BEST track & field state in the US, so it's just common sense that a TX athlete would be crowned the FIRST world champion!
