Morgan Stewart has the fastest seed time coming into the meet. The Jersey Village senior ran 2:13.93 to win Spring Relays last year. Stewart also has 400m speed as well coming in 2nd at Carl Lewis last year running 
58.43. Dinah Murphy from Fort Bend Bush comes into the meet with the 2nd fastest seed time of 2:15. She ran that time to finish 3rd in the Victor Lopez Classic last year. Lynette Amaram may not have the fastest seed time but she has the fastest proven time of 2:11.93 which she ran to place 3rd at the TTFCA Meet of Champions, she was also the Class 4A State champion. This much like the guys 800m race is going to be one of the more competitive distance/mid-distance races of the meet.

Mile

Joy Ihedilionye has the fastest seed time of 5:12 but holds an outdoor mile PR of 5:30.74. Two other girls come in with 5:13 seed times. Those two girls are Jasmine Amo and Bret Nance. Nance finished 4th in the 800m at the state meet last year running 2:16 (class 3A). She holds an indoor mile PR of 5:17.28, and was the outdoor 1600m 3A (5:19.78) State Champion last spring. Amo has never run an indoor mile but holds an indoor 2 mile PR of 11:46.78. 

3000 Meter

This will be one of the smallest track events of the day with only 26 competitors entered. Kaitlyn Stark from SpeedKIDZ has the fastest seed time at 10:25.00. Helen Roddy from Leander Rouse has the 2nd fastest seed time of 10:30. Roddy finished 5th in the mile last weekend at the Texas A&M Indoor Classic.
