The first outdoor track meets of the season are a few weeks away! It's time to really get excited now as the clock is ticking down to our first meet coverage of the season (now 10 days away, but who's counting ;). Check out the list of meets we tentatively plan on covering and what kind of coverage we will have from each meet HERE. These meets are tentative but we're only hoping to add to this!
We have a great group of contributors who help us at meets across the state gathering the best coverage of the sport in Texas! Our contributors come from all different backgrounds, but all share the love of track and field.
Do you love track and field? Do you eat, sleep, breath, and live for track? We're always looking for more contributors to help grow the sport give us a shot if you'd like to be a contributor! Bryan Deibel (Runner/Texas MileSplit Webmaster) - I will be covering meets across the state this season trying to reach as many areas as possible. Many of you who ran cross country may already know me I started this past fall as the new full-time webmaster (Meet New Texas Webmaster Bryan Deibel!)
Will Grundy (Coach)- The live coverage master! Many of you probably know or have seen him out at meets in the past. He's helped TX MileSplit for the past year and will be at many of the Houston area meets this season. Keep an eye out for Will at your meet as he will be all over Houston and the surrounding areas.
Travis Miller (TX MileSplit Godfather) - Travis is still around for those of you who meet him last year. He's taught me bunch about Texas track and running, and is still helping me cover meets even in his new role on the national team. He will be making guest appearances at meets helping with a little bit of everything.
