Freshmen Jasmine Moore has been jumping well so far this season but jumped had a BIG meet this weekend jumping 20' in the long jump and 40'5" in the triple jump. The long jump for Moore was a PR, while the triple jump was just off (40'6.75") a PR. With her 20' long jump she now joins only three other girls to go on or over 20' this year. Both jumps are U.S. #3 marks. The craziest part of it all...she's only a freshmen!

Adrian Piperi Breaks Michael Carter's 37-year-old Meet Record

Adrian Piperi joined the 70' club two weekends ago and solidified his position there this weekend. He bettered his 70'1" PR by two inches throwing 70'3". That throw also broke the 37-year-old meet record held by American High School National Record Holder Michael Carter. The old record held by Carter was 70'0.25".
Piperi now ranks U.S. #2 only behind Bronson Osborn from Esperanza High School (CA). Osborn threw 70'4.5" to take the U.S. #1 spot this weekend.
