Texas Athletes To Watch For At Arkansas HS Inv.

FIELD EVENTS

On the girls side, we'll start off with Mesquite Horn's Kaylor Harris. Harris is entered in the Long Jump, and she is definitely capable of winning this event. Harris had an awesome 2016 season. She joined the 20 foot club with her 20-5.75 at the Great Southwest and was the runner-up at the 2016 UIL Texas State meet.  Not just that, Harris gained valuable experience with the USA Junior National team and with her runner up at the AAU Junior Olympics this summer.

Jasmine Moore competes at the State meet

All-State Mansfield Lake Ridge star Jasmine Moore will take her talents to Arkansas as well. Moore will be competing in her specialty, the Triple Jump. She had an outstanding freshman year in 2016 ending her season with TJ titles at State, the Great Southwest, New Balance, and the USATF Junior Olympics. Moore also won the Texas A&M High School Invitational last week.

Clayton Brewer after Winning High Jump at Texas A&M

On the boys side, Keller's Clayton Brewer will travel up to Arkansas to compete in the High Jump. Last week, Brewer won the Texas A&M High School Invitational with an indoor PR of 6-6.25. Brewer has soared 6-8 outdoors and clearly has the ability to challenge the field at Arkansas.
