Two Sport Star Jada Gardner Doing Big Things In Track & Volleyball

So, we all know about the many past and present track stars our sport has lost to football. Texas is the land of milk and honey when it comes to having so many talented high school track stars who go on to play DI football and basketball and even many of them going on to the NFL instead of continuing in track and field. Contrary to popular belief, we also lose female track stars to other sports.

Cibolo Steele's Jada Gardner is one of those cases. She is a good long jumper, a good triple jumper, and state meet qualifying high jumper. I'd usually call that a star. But when it comes to volleyball, she is definitely a star and then some. Gardner, a University of Maryland volleyball signee and her Alamo Premier club volleyball team will play in Houston, at the Mizuno Lone Star Classic National Qualifier on March 3-5. Gardner, a 6-1 Outside Hitter and Middle Blocker has been named one of the top players that will be participating in the tournament. In Jada Gardner's case, I don't know if we are as much losing a track star or more so just borrowing a volleyball star.
