Cameron Burrell, the University of Houston sprint star, is another Texas bred track and field star who was performing on home soil, at the NCAA Indoor Nationals. Burrell had high aspirations and really more like expectations to win an indoor NCAA 60m title in College Station. Burrell came up just short of that goal with his second place finish, but it should be noted that it took an NCAA record setting performance to beat him.
