Poll: Who Has The Best Sprinters Dallas or Houston?

Girls 4x4 Finals Battle at TSU Relays

So, the TSU Relays showed what some of these teams are capable of on both the girls and the boys side. Even though the meet was heavily represented by Houston area teams, there was still enough Dallas fire power to raise the question.

By no means is this a new discussion. I'm sure the debate has been around as long as both cities have been in existence. Most Texas track and field fans are very educated on the sport's history in their cities, the teams, as well as the current status. If you've ever been in the stands near the finish line at TSU or at Texas Relays, then you know how passionate people are with their perspective.

So, with that said, here are the particulars: Your vote for either city should be representative of girls and boys from the 60m - 400m indoors and outdoor, 110H and 300H, and all three sprint relays. A vote for the Dallas area means from Sherman to Corsicana and Mineral Wells to Greenville. A vote for the Houston area means from Conroe to Galveston and from Katy to Baytown.

With more localized meets going on this week and Texas Relays coming up the following week, this seems like a good time to get this question out there.....all in good fun, of course....Let the voting begin!!!!

Locally, the big meet in Dallas will be the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays LIVE STREAM and Desoto will be the big dog at that meet. In Houston, the Victor Lopez Classic LIVE STREAM will showcase Manvel and Ft. Bend Marshall. We saw the big dogs in a meet together and this week we will get to get a glimpse of what they will look like competing back in their local regions with all roads leading to another clash of the titans, in a few weeks in Austin.
