First Year Runner Noah Haileab Wins The AAU Junior Olympic Games 1500m

Noah Haileab interviews after his win in the 13 yo boys 1500m

Last year, this young man wasn't even thinking about running. Somehow, yesterday, he won a national title.
NOAH HAILEAB of Pearland Express TC has had a heck of a summer. After a productive middle school season, Haileb decided to pursue running a little further and now he is thinking about running collegiately, "I did it in school and I did good I felt good and decided to do it for club too, I'm looking forward in doing it throughout my future in college and high school too ."

Haileb has put together a string of impressive times in three events. His 800m PR is 2:07, 4:24.10 in the 1500m, and 10.01.73 3K. So, what is next for Haileab?"God gave me a talent and I'm going to use that talent, and you can expect to see me in AAU next year."

With UIL stars like REED BROWN and SAM WORLEY having recently graduate, Haileab could be the next Texas distance star with a range of events that go as short as the 800m all of the way up to the 3200m or more just like Brown and Worley. Bottom line, remember the name Noah Haileab, in two years he'll be at a high school track and cross country course near you!
