Analysis: Allison finished sixth overall at the 2016 UIL 5A state cross country championships. The 2016 finish was a repeat of her sixth place at the 2015 championships and her 18th place finish as a freshman back in 2014. Her 2016 finish at state was saw her PR in 18:08.63 and that was her fourth sub 19 min race of the year. Allison led her Canyon squad to a fifth place team finish at the 2016 UIL 5A state championships.
Allison also had a strong season on the track by going 5:26.74 in the 1600m and 11:08.15 in the 3200m.
