Analysis: Santoro is the #2 fastest returner in the entire state of Texas. She is also the conductor of the Keller Indians train leading them to a 2016 UIL 6A state champions and ranked #3 in the Flo50 Girls Team Rankings 2017. Individually, Santoro placed third at the UIL 6A state meet for both of the last two seasons. Last year, she followed the state meet performance up with a third at NXN South Regionals. This season, she looks to climb up the awards stand in both races. With PRs of 5:00.45 for 1600m and 10:49.38 for 3200m during last year's track season, she has shown the speed that'll keep her in the mix of any race.
The 2017 cross season could be an even more special season than last year for Santoro and her Keller squad.
