Last year, at the Lovejoy Texas Express Holiday Invitational Indoor Pole Vault Meet 77-year-old Don Isett broke an age group world record and American Masters Indoor Track & Field Record. The 77-year-old cleared 10'6" to take the record. The previous record was 9'6.5" which he also held according to USATF.org. He set that record back on March 21st, 2015 in Winston-Salem, NC when he was 75-years-old. Isett also holds the outdoor record at 10'6" which he set back on May 31st, 2014 in Dallas, TX at the USATF Southwestern Association Championships. For more coverage from the meet click below.
