TAPPS State Preview: 7 Questions Heading into the Weekend

Carter Cheeseman competes at the Arcadia Invitational

Can Carter Cheeseman set the TAPPS all time record for the 1600 and 3200?
Fort Worth Christian junior Carter Cheeseman has had a phenomenal season and provided TAPPS a great national platform when he took down the traveling Illinoisans Danny Kilrea and Clayton Mendez at the Texas Distance Festival with his comeback for the ages.

What else does Cheeseman need to do to establish himself as a Texas all timer? Why, break the TAPPS state records for the 3200 (9:19.02) held by Matthew Arndorfer and the 4:19.15 mark held by former TMI standout Chris Pietraszkiewicz, of course! This shouldn't be difficult for Cheeseman to do as he has already run 8:54 and 4:16 this season but it'll all depend on where he's at in his program and whether or not he is pushed.
