Engle had a very hot finish to the 2017 cross country season and should have his eye on an even better 2018 season for his senior year.
During championship season, he ran impressive races at district, regionals, state, as well as NXR south. His run at state saw him finish 23rd in 15:39.90.
His hot streak also helped his SV team run it's way to the UIL 6A state meet.
