How do you step onto the high school stage as a freshman? Well, if you can do it like Greer did last year, then you'd probably be on cloud nine.
Last year, the Melissa stud burst onto the cross country scene with a sub 16:00 race and kept pushing the pace from then on. He eventually finished in third at the UIL 4A state meet.
He also found success on the track in the 1600m and the 3200m by medaling in both events in Austin with a third place finish in the 1600m and second in the 3200m. With fast marks on his freshman season like 2:03.09, 4:23.48, 9:39.90, and 15:36.88, he will definitely be one to look forward to this season.
