Ellie Catron
The Woodlands Christian junior Ellie Catron stepped way up in the competition level, but she showed that the level doesn't bother her.
Catron, who has was sick over the summer and had a lingering knee injury hasn't been able to practice as she would have liked to before entering into the season. However, she surprised herself with the performance at The Woodlands Friday Night Lights. By running to an 11th place finish against some of the top UIL girls in the state, Catron gained some confidence for the rest of the season. When asked about her goals for the season, her first response was, "I'd like to get some PRs this season," meaning Catron is looking to run fast in 2018!
