Johnson totaled 7,266 points. He placed first in both the discus and javelin competitions in the decathlon and was sixth in the 100m dash and eighth in the long jump

Chris Gilchrist (24' 7.25") and Curtis Patterson (23' 8.75") place second and seventh, respectively in the Texas Relays University B long jump competition.

Scott Jones (14.13) was eighth in the 110 meter hurdles and Jay Newman (53.41) placed 13th in the 400 meter hurdles.

Newman, Matt Stephenson, Roger Rueweler and Leon Banks teams to place 20th in the men's 4x400 relay with a time of 3:17.69.

Leading the Bearkat women was Christina Webb who finished seventh in the Texas Relays University B shot put. Webb threw the shot put 46' 0.75".

Sabrina Starr (14.24) was 27th in the 100 meter hurdles and Dakota Stewart (1:04.70) and Brittany Henson (1:05.83) were 29th and 34th, respectively in the 400 meter hurdles. Henson, Starr, Simbi George and Jordan Heggie placed 29th in the 4x100 relay with a clocking of 48.08 seconds. George, Tonicia Wimberly, Monika May and Henson were 27th in the 4x400 relay, running 3:52.01.
