Can anyone tell me what the requirements are to be considered an "All American" in high school track/cross-country?
To be a Footlocker All-American the runner had to finish in the top 15 at the Footlocker National Championship Meet. Athletes had to finish in the top 10 at one of four Footlocker Regional Meets to qualify for the national meet in San Diego.

Interesting. So this must be a "footlocker" designation? I had heard top 15 at NXN were considered All American as well but nothing has been posted as far as that goes. This is all new to me; not sure what it even means...sounds nice though!
NXN needs to make a bigger deal of the top 15 too. I know it is the so called Team national championship but why not make a bigger deal of the so called All American designation?
