Troutman, the AA State Champion in the Discus has a best of 186-02 which helped him earn the honor of KYtrackXC.com Field Event Athlete of the Year for 2012.  He will need to go past 193-01 to move up on the All-Time list.  Troutman will throw for the University of Louisville next year.  He will compete at 2:30 PM on Sunday.

Murray State's Tonia Pratt will also compete in the national championship in the Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer Throw.
