UTSA Gold Meet Report:
Soggy conditions did not hamper the competition this morning at UTSA Ricardo Romo Classic. The Girls Gold division featured a great race between Senior Brenda Lopez from San Benito and Sophomore Devin Clark from Spring Branch Smithson Valley. The two went back and forth througout the muddy course. Brenda used a late surge to nip Devin at the line 18:24.6 to 18:24.8. New Braunfels FR Paige Hofstad made her UTSA debut in style earning a third place finish with an impressive time of 18:37.2. In the team battle Mission Sharyland edged out Spring Branch Smithson Valley and San Antonio Johnson (150-169-170)
