Here is the All-Txrunning Distance team. We still have the throws, hurdles, and class teams coming this week.

We recognize the top performances at the State Meet with the Txrunning All-4A Teams. We recognize the the top 28 runners with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention teams. A medal will be added to each athletes Txrunning profile.

This is our next to last installment of the preseason series.Today we look at the boys first  team. The lists consist of what we think are the best runners in the state coming into the 2009 season. The lists are seperated by first team, second team, third team and honorable mention. last installment will be on Wednesday.

The meet was a Region IV preview as Tricia Terry and Paul Snyder stamped themselves as 5A favorites. Bianca Sigel ran away with the 5A Girls race in an impressive 11:39. David Mis won the 5A Boys race in 17:06. Melissa Jones won the 4A Division in 12:08 while teammate Ethan Doherty won in 16:13. We got plenty of pictures and video of the UTSA Invitational this afternoon. Please check back for updates as we are getting those uploaded.
