VERMILLION — If competition truly does breed success, the University of South Dakota women’s pole vaulting corp must certainly be competitive. In a span of three days last week, the Coyote women had two redshirt vaulters — Kaitlin Petrillose and Bethany Buell — reach the qualifying standard for the U.S. Olympic trials.
