AUSTIN, Texas -- University of Texas sophomore Leonel Manzano (Marble Falls, Texas) topped his own school record in the mile Saturday evening at The Husky Classic in Seattle, while junior Andra Manson (Brenham, Texas) continued his dominance in the high jump on the second and final day of the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., capping a productive weekend for coach Bubba Thornton\'s Longhorns.

DALLAS--Jake Morse (Texas) and Kristin Hansen (Missouri) have been named Runners of the Week, for meets through Sept. 19.

What a week for Cross Country in Texas. The highlights of the week were the Marcus I Invitational (Northlake\'s Park) and The Woodlands Invitational (Montgomery College).
