Plano senior Scott MacPherson didn\'t get the last jewel in his long distance \"triple crown\"

Andy Biladeau competed tonight in the 2 mile of the Texas Relays. Biladeau fell around the mile mark, and got up to battle back into contention for the lead. The Tampa Jesuit senior finished in 9:04.12, two seconds back from winner Scott MacPherson of Texas. Thanks to Ricky Quintana for offering play by play of the performance on our forum.

Scott Macpherson (Plano) won the 1600 run in a personal best of 4:12.24. Scott ran the 800 in 1:55.3 hours before the 1600 final in windy conditions.

Plano West senior Erin Bedell used the Lake Highlands Invitational as a training session Saturday. Bedell attacked the nearly two-mile course from the start, easily winning the girls Class 5A/4A division in 10 minutes, 27 seconds at Dallas\' Norbuck Park.
