7:30 Coachs meeting
First Race starts at 8:00 am and will continue in the following order:
Mens Races
Lake Park
5,000 Meters 6A/5A Varsity 8:30 AM
5,000 Meters 6A/5A Junior Varsity 9:30 AM
5,000 Meters 4A and Under Varsity 10:30 AM
5,000 Meters 4A and Under Junior Varsity 11:30 AM
Womens Races
Lake Park
5,000 Meters 6A/5A Varsity 8:00 AM
5,000 Meters 6A/5A Junior Varsity 9:00 AM
2 Mile 4A and Under Varsity 10:00 AM
2 Mile 4A and Under Junior Varsity 11:00 AM
We will make every effort to stick as close to the above schedule as possible.
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams in each division
Individual awards will be given to the top 15 finishers in each division
Rules
The meet will be run according to UIL rules. Each school may only enter one Varsity mens and one Varsity womens team. Varsity teams may contain a maximum of 7 runners. Teams with less than 5 runners will not be included in the team scores; however, individuals are eligible for top 15 medals. Athletes may only participate in 1 race.
Please make sure athlete and school names are printed on the tear off tags. Ensure all athletes have appropriate tags. Preprinted tags will be available. Please help by sending in your athlete rosters by designated deadline.
Athletes must have their name on their tag. Any runners without names on their tag will be disqualified.
Team packets should be tallied and turned in ASAP after each race.
Only eligible athletes are allowed to run, no unattached runners as per UIL.
Running of an ineligible athlete will result in the disqualification of the team.
Miscellaneous Info
T-shirts will be available for purchase
Concessions will be available for purchase
Water will be provided
Results will be posted after each race
Splits will be called at each mile
Coachs breakfast served
Course-picturesque on the shores of Lake Lewisville, flat & fast course on grass, dirt and some pavement with a 200 m uphill finish. 6A/5A Men and Women, 4A & Under Men will run 5k, 4A & Under women will run 2-miles.
