Southlake Carroll Invitational 2009

Connor Adams and Rachel Johnson had great 5000m meters races at the Southlake Carroll Meet on Saturday. Connor made a statement that he was going to be a contender this year with the victory in a state leading time of 15:05 while Rachel raced an impressive 18:07.

The 2009 Version of the Southlake Carroll Invitational looks to bring over 1100 athletes and 24 schools from the mertoplex area.   The Girls teams highlighting the event are CCCAT ranked teams 5A #4 Southlake Carroll, 4A #7 Forney and #8 Frisco. 3A #1 Decatur.   The Boys teams highlighting the event are CCCAT ranked teams 5A #3 Marcus, #5 Flower Mound, #9 Southlake Carroll, 4A #8 Forney, 3A #10 Decatur.   Complete List of Schools are Allen, America-El Paso, Byron Nelson-Northwest, Cistercian Prep, The Colony, Coppell, Decatur, Denton, Flower Mound, Forney, Frisco, Frisco-Centennial, FT Worth Christian, Hebron, Lewisville, Mansfield, Marcus, Newman Smith, Justin-Northwest, Plano, Plano East, Plano West, Socorro-El Paso, Southlake Carroll. *New venue.  Luke's Locker is sponsoring the race with RunFar doing the scoring.
