BEING AWESOME

About Me

I was born in San Antonio Texas . My dad left my mom and I when I was born. We were poor and it was very tough. We barley had enough money to get food. Other than running thats the main reason why im so skinny.. When I was five my dad died in a car wreck. He was an acohalic and a drugie. It was tough and wsn't taught any of those stuff that dads teach you. A year later my mom and I left from my grandma and took me. One day in a lil diner the cops arrested my mom and took me to an orphanage. Almost a year later a mexican foster family of 6 took me. I lived with them for over a year. Social security wouldn't let me live with my mom because she was sicodic. She is now in a local hospital in texas. On August1, 2002 i was adopted by a family in southlake, texas . My new family had adopted me in 2002 in southlake. thats the family I live with today. My dad and C.J Brown are the people who really got me into running. I started running in 7th grade but wasn't real serious about running and I ran the B team for Carroll middle School. The next year I had done alot of running over the summer and gained more experience. My 8th grade year I had got in a little bit of high level trainig with alot of after school extra miles. With all the hard work I had moved up to A team. The next summer I started running with the Southlake H.S cross country team. I gained alot of experience, life and running lessons, endurance, and good friends. I was running 40 miles a week which is high mileage for a Freshmen. Also with my time at Southlake I went to a running camp called PAAVO. That is where my running season experience really started. It was the hardest 7 days I had ever faced. A month later I had to change schools. Right now I am a Freshmen at Justin Northwest and I am running cross country there. I am running 50 miles a week which is alot as a Freshmen. They have taught me alot and helped me alot. The thing that pumps me up the most in meets is beating my former team Southlake.
