My son is the reigning 2008 Texas 5A State High Jump Champion Toddrick Allen. He earned All-District, All-Area and All-State honors in the 2008 season. He competed in the 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals and had a 4th place finish earning him All-American honors. He also competed in the 2008 Great Southwest Classic in New Mexico and had a 3rd place finish. He currently has a PR of 7'1". He has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Houston next fall on a track scholarship.

Goals for the 2009 season are to repeat as state champion and make the qualifying mark of 6'10.25" (accomplished)for the USATF Junior Nationals. A first or second place finish in that meet and he would make the USA Junior World Championship team.
