San Diego Boys Cross Country Team was District Champs in 2008. Justin Flores as a Sophomore ran a best time of 17:20. This year (2009) in the 5K Justin Ibanez (Junior) has run 17:30, Rey Trevino (Junior) 17:53, Justin Flores (Junior) 17:48, Jose Arredondo (Soph.) 18:11, Cesar Trevino 18:08, Josh Sepulveda (Senior) 19:04, Robert Saenz (Senior) 19:30, and Abel Perez (Junior) 19:30.

Early season best at the Falfurrias Invitational cross Country Meet. Rey Trevino-18:11, Justin Ibanez-18:46, Newcomer Sophomore Ricky Gonzalez-19:28 should help the team to another District Title in District 31AA. Junior Jose Arredondo, coming of an injury last yeat ran a 19:17.
District 31-2A Cross Country Meet will be held October 27, 2010 at West Guth Park in Corpus Christi (Toloso-Midway area)
San Diego will be in District 31-2A for the 2010 Cross Country Season. Schools are: Skidmore-Tynan, Refugio, Freer, Bishop, Taft, Banquete, Odem, and San Diego which should be the favorite to win the District.
San Diego Boys Cross Country Team was District Champs in 2009, placed 3rd in Regional, and 8th in State. However we lost Justin Flores to an accident, but we will have a good group of runners comming back.
2009 Justin Flores ran a 5k best of 17:18, Cesar Trevino a 17:57, Josh Sepulveda 18:55, and Robert Saenz 19:25.
District 32AA will be having their District Meet in Riviera, Texas on October 26, 2009. Starting time will be at 4:00 p.m.
San Diego is a 2A school from 32AA Region IV and not a 3A school.
