How's your training so far this year?
Southlake Carroll High School (Southlake, TX) SR.
PR's: 1:52.99 (800m) 4:09.37 (1600m) 4:15.65 (One Mile), 9:26.06 (3200m)
My training has been going very well. I am very fit in comparison to years past. My mileage has not changed but I have focused a lot more on doing drills, core work, and eating better.
What are you looking forward to the most about Seattle?
I am looking forward to the race in Seattle. Last year I didn't run a very smart race and ended up dying off so I am looking forward to redeeming myself from that.
What are your goals for this meet and the rest of the season?
My goal for the race at Brooks is to just have a good race and dip down around 4:10, I am hoping this places me in the top three. My season goals are to win state in the mile and 2 mile. My time goals would be to be under 4:05 and 8:55.
I have playlist set up for before my race but the last three I listen to are All of the Lights (Kanye West), Remember The Name (Fort Minor), and Run this Town (Jay-z).
