One of the top performers among the incredible display of talent and speed found at the UIL Texas State Championship Meet had to be 4A boys hurdles state champion Kendall Sheffield of Fort Bend Marshall. The junior Sheffield won the 110 meter hurdles in a US #1 wind-legal clocking of 13.63 and then came back in the 300 meter hurdles later on Friday evening to nearly run his second nation's best time in the meet with a US #2 performance of 36.34 in the 300 meter hurdles.
