Hook Em' Horns: Sunshine State Speedster Teahna Daniels Decides University of Texas

First Academy senior Teahna Daniels had a junior season to remember in 2014. Daniels scored major wins at the Texas Relays, Florida Relays, and then at the 1A state championships where she won both the 100 and 200 meter dash. She finished first at the Golden South Classic and followed that up with a runner-up finish at the Adidas Grand Prix Dream 100 in New York City, and ended her year with a personal best 11.31 and third place showing at USA Juniors. Her third place finish was good enough to earn her a spot on the USA 4x100m team at the World Junior Championships in Eugene that eventually brought home the gold medal! Recently, Teahna announced her college decision to run for the University of Texas and flrunners.com was on hand to videotape the moment as well as get an interview with Daniels and TFA coach Ricky Argro.
