What was your most memorable race/moment?

I would have to say my most memorable race is the 4x4 at this year’s regionals meet because it took for all of us to come together as a team to win it all because our first day out we didn’t do what was expected of us as a whole and we weren’t as focused as we should’ve been. Yeah, it would have to be regionals.


Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?

Lol ummm… UIL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2015 …. It can be an extremely emotional meet when you come up short so many times but on your last try you go out with a bang.. “HARD WORK PAYS OFF”.. 2015 state champs

What was your greatest accomplishment?

Making the Youth Olympic Team…

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

Meaning that I do not live with regrets.. I wouldn’t change to much but I would change my coach staff from my 9th grade year to the ones I have now!!!!

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

Getting myself back together after my injury in China…


What will you miss the most?

The bond that I have with my track team, when most people see us they just see a team, but we are much more than that we are a family. We are #BMF… not a click but a movement

What advice you would give to younger athletes?

One thing I would say is to stay on top of your grades because you never know how it will affect you in the long run.. Always think NCAA Clearance house

What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?

Awe Man Coach Banks has been a huge factor in my life, not only has he been a great coach but he has also be a great mentor along with a great father figure.. I can truly say he’s prepared me for the real world

What are your college plans?

Right now I’m thinking I might go into kinesiology as far as my major goes. I really just want to get to the University of Houston perform to the best of my ability and hopefully leave as one of the greats.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to give a HUGE thanks to god first and for most along with my coaches Banks, Coach Alix, Coach White ,My mom , my grandparents, my aunts, and the milesplit organization for doing such a great job promoting our sport.

ANYTHING IS possible if you are willing to work for it…

What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?

Texas relays…… I learned how important it is to just “Shut Up and Run”…. PRICELESS…
