When did you first learned that you were invited to the Brooks PR Invite and how did your react?

When I first learned I was invited to the Brooks PR meet I was so excited to go back! It had been an amazing experience last year and I met some amazing people on the trip.

What does it mean to you to be invited to the Brooks PR Invitational?

To be invited to me means a lot this year. There have been some really amazing girls out there this year running really fast, so be apart of them is a huge accomplishment.

What do you hope to achieve at the meet?

My goal for this meet is of course to run a PR. This is the meet where people go to do their best and I'm ready to go out there and give it all I have.

What music do you listen to before races?

Before my races I listen to a wide variety of music. Most people tend to listen to fast pace music, but ironically I enjoy listening to a mixture of fast music and 90's slow jams. It's like the calm before the storm.

If you were stranded on an island with three things what would they be?

If I was stranded on an island I would have a way to filter water, a knife, and some duct tape.

What would you consider as your best or most favorite race of all-time and why?

My favorite race has to be the 100 hurdles. I can't pick one favorite race, but I really enjoy every race where I have great competition.

What are some things un-running related people might not know about you?

Something's that people might not know about me is I am a pretty good cook and I enjoy looking up quotes about situations in life.

How and why did you get involved in the sport?

I started running track initially to get my parents to stop begging me to run. I used to say "I hate running so why would I like track!" After my first year I fell in love with the feeling of accomplishment you get after each race.

How has your training been leading up to the meet?

My training has been pretty good leading up to this meet. It was very nice having a week without a meet between Brooks and the Great Southwest.

What are you most looking forward about your trip, race and weekend at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle?

Last year this trip was amazing for me! I am looking forward to meeting some very talented athletes, and to the entire experience the people at Brooks took time to set up for us. I'm looking forward to making some good memories!
