Looking at his outdoor season, Rodriguez competed well all season and finished in good form with Top-3 finishes in the 1600/3200 at both District and Area.
He set PRs in both events (4:25/9:36) at the Mercedes Knights of Columbus Relays.
The rising junior has two solid xc years ahead of him after winning District in 2014 and making his first appearance at State. He made significant improvements on the track in 2015, and if he can keep that trend going through cross country, he could have a breakout season.
