#24: Matt Henderson - The Woodlands
The Woodlands has a very solid group this season, and is positioned well for a shot at the State Title. Henderson will be an important contributor for the team. He's an experienced competitor having raced at State & Nike Cross Nationals in 2014. He improved on his 87th place finish at NXN South in 2013 to finish 61st last season.
He's kept that momentum alive all year after making some impressive time drops in track, especially in the 1600m. He PRed in his final race of the season, running 4:16. If that new track speed translates to XC for Henderson, he could become more than just a quality team contributor, and fight for a Top-20 spot at State this season.
