Paige Hofstad just ran U.S. No. 1 for 5k to win the Southlake Carroll Invitational in 17:23 The New Braunfels senior was unable to run a full track season this past spring due to injury. She was only able to get one 3200m race in where she ran 10:39. She ran the New Braunfels Invite last weekend running 10:37 for 3000m. Hofstand's season started out with injury last year as well, and she went on to finished 2nd at NXN and 4th at Foot Locker.
