Gift Breaks Up Woodlands Sweep, Cinco Girls Grab Another Win!
Boys Race
- This race was quite the battle between Nathan Gift and The Woodlands guys. The battle ended up going right down to the wire with The Woodlands Daniel Golden coming out on top running 15:37. Gift was only three seconds behind him running 15:40. The Woodlands boys squad dominated finishing just shy of a perfect score with 20 points. They had only a 0:25 split between their top five finishers. The team in total had 10 finishers in the top 13 and all of there runners in the top 50. The second place team was Houston Strake Jesuit who scored 82 points lead by Hugo Gonzalez.
Girls Race
- The girls title was won by Cinco Ranch sophomore Reagan Kappel. Keppel finished the course in 18:06. Coming across the line in second was her teammate Megan Hopper who finished the course in 18:46. The duo lead the Cougars to victory scoring 29 points. The next closest team behind them was Cy-Fair who scored 95 points. This is Cinco Ranch's second team victory in a row after winning the Spring Branch ISD Invitational last weekend scoring 33 points.
