Boys 100m Dash - Chauncy Smart (3rd Place - 10.62)

"My race went perfect. I told my self I wanted to place top three and I made that happen. Brooks PR was really fun  and I honestly want to go back Seattle next year. I like everything we did. Everything was fun and meeting new people, just the whole experience was awesome."

Boys 400m Dash - Brandon Cachon (3rd Place - 47.83)

"My race went very well the first 300 meters., but the head wind was very strong on the home stretch. I didn't run the time I wanted, but I placed 3rd and I can't be mad about that. My overall experience was amazing and I loved every second of being at Brooks."

Girls 400m Dash - Jan'Tajiah Ford (2nd Place - 53.83), Janaya Chambers (7th Place - 56.66)

"My race at Brooks was a great experience. I had the opportunity run against some of the fastest student athletes in the United States. I was a bit nervous at first but through prayer and having Coach Thomas by my side to motivate me and telling me to be my best I felt I became a stronger runner. I didn't win this one , but I hope to be back next year. My freshman year as a whole was an eye opener, but this experience taught me how to grow as a person both on the field and off, and has shown me that I must work very hard to reach my goals."  - Jan'Taijah Ford
