BREAKING: World Youth Champion Norman Grimes Out For Season!

Returning 5A 300mH state champion, World Youth Champion, and Pan-American Junior Champion Norman Grimes will no longer be running in the Region 1-5A meet this weekend. The Canyon senior suffered a hamstring injury last weekend at the Michael Johnson Invitational. He told Texas MileSplit he pulled his hamstring before racing the 400mH. The Texas Tech commit was one of the favorites for the 5A State Title in both the 110mH and 300mH. He holds the fastest 5A times in the State having run 13.99. and 36.33. Grimes is hoping to be back in action for summer meets. We wish him the best in the recovery process.
