Girls 4x400m
Last year's state meet runner-up, Cross Plains, should come back strong and capable of taking the win this year. But they'll have to get past Bronte, which owns the fastest seed time, 4:09.60 -- about four seconds faster than Cross Plains' 4:13.85. We also can't forget the team from Anton, which is squeezed between the two with the second-fastest seed time of 4:12.67. If these teams run up to their seeded potential on the state stage this year, we could see the 1A girls 4x400m record go down for the second year in a row. (Last year's results)
