1. What was your most memorable race/ moment?
This years state meet was my favorite race, I finished in 19th place. That is the 2nd best finish in school history.

2. Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
My biggest competition through my high school career was my teammate Collin Carter. We always pushed each other to do better.

3. What was your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment was making it to the state meet three years in a row. And finishing Top 3 All Time in Giddings Xc History.

4. If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
I would probably start running cross country my freshman year, instead of playing football.

5. What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
After I fainted in my first state meet in 2013. I got up and finished the race. It was the hardest thing I have ever done.


6. What will you miss the most?
I will miss wearing the black and gold, and competing with all my teammates.

7. What advice would you give to younger athletes?
High school goes by fast. So always keep working hard, And make the best out of it.

8. What influence has your coach had with respect to your performances and overall life goals?
Coach Ortiz always pushed me to do my best in practice. And that made me into the runner I am today. He also taught me that if you believe in your self, you can do anything.

9. What are your college plans?
I will be running cross country and track, at South Plains College this upcoming fall.

10. Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
My Parents for shaping me into the person I am today. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.

11. Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Don't sleep on my teammates. Giddings is about to take over again.

12. What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?
When I started talking to my teammate Bailey in the stands, In the middle of my 3200 meter race.
