#4: Quinn Owen - Marcus
Rising junior Quinn Owen ranks fourth in the preseason rankings. During the 2016 track season, Owen broke two huge barriers: 5 minutes for the 1600m and 11 minutes for the 3200m. Looking to keep up the momentum, she is aiming to break that 18 minute barrier for the second time. Her 17:42.17 and ninth place finish at the McNeil Invitational is her personal best and one of her most notable cross country races. Another stand-out race was her 6th place finish at the Cross Country Texas State Championships as only a sophomore. With Maddy Reed now running for the University of Arkansas, Owen will be called on to fill her shoes and help take Marcus back to the state meet.
