Can Ashton Endsley go undefeated this year?
In her senior year, Endsley appears to be coming back stronger than ever. Last weekend she dropped a XC 5K PR of 16:56.83 to win the Tall City Invitational. This past weekend in the loaded field at Marcus I she pulled off her 2nd win in a row running 17:47.43. Endsley could easily go undefeated until the state meet. At state bearing both runners make it one of the highly anticipated matchups could be Ashton Endsley v.s. Julia Heymach. Heymach has beaten Endsley the past three years at state including last year when she won the state title. This could be Endsley's year, but as stated it's going to be tough because Heymach is also running strong. Either way, come state if both are racing and healthy we could be in for one heck of a showdown.
