New Braunfels Canyon's Sam Worley has to be in consideration when talking about winning anywhere, against anyone, in any race over 400m. In fact, he is undefeated on the year. Worley won the 2016 McNeil Invitational posting a 14:41 on the new course. From there Worley went on to win his district race in 15:10 and he won the Region 4-6A race, by running away from the competition in the last mile, for a 15:38 finish.
