Workout Wednesday: State Champs Lovejoy Run Mile Repeats

Want to know how to train like a state champion? Watch the Lovejoy boys prep early in the season to be ready for November. We caught up with them in late August to film one of their staple mile repeat workouts. The majority of the workout follows senior Grant Tiff and junior Ryan Brands who led every rep. Tiff finished his season placing 15th at the state meet, as Lovejoy's first runner. The entire team will be challenging the rest of the state for a spot at NXN this weekend in The Woodlands.   • Boys 4-5x1Mile   Pace= 4:55 - 5:10
  • Girls 4x1Mile      Pace= 6:20 - 6:45
