Colorado Action at Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic

Anna Hall's 400 on Friday night was good enough to earn her the chance to do it again on Saturday. File photo.

A few Colorado athletes have made the trip down to College Station, Texas, this weekend. The big draw for these FK Elite-affiliated athletes is one of the biggest indoor meets of the season, the Texas A&M High School Indoor Classic.

Prelims of the 200 and 400 were contested on Friday night with mixed results for the Colorado delegation.

Anna Hall got things started off nicely with a 57.56 qualifier for finals in the girls 400.

After that, though, it was one-and-out for Colorado. Devin Cadena missed advancing in the 200 with a 22.91. Similarly, Taylor Watson missed advancing with a 26.07 in the 200.

In field events, Mariela Hollines went 33-4 in the triple jump, while Sydnee Larkin was unable to record a legal jump.

Although I don't promise I've found every Colorado entry to look for today, you can at least look for the following in today's results: Anna Hall (high jump), Cameron Harris, Mariela Hollines, Caelyn Gomez, and Sydnee Larkin (long jump), Cameron Harris, Emily Sloan, Anna Hall, and Kylie Davis (60 hurdles), Devin Cadena, Sydnee Larkin, Lauren Cox, Taylor Watson, and Caelyn Gomez (60), and Jordan McCurdy (mile).
