Top 8 Performances from the 2017 Indoor and Regular Track Season

Reed Brown Runs TX No 1 in 1st 3200m of the Season at Districts

This season, Reed Brown decided to wait to run a 3200m until Districts. Waiting until districts does not generally work out for most athletes as they do not get the practice in to ensure a good pace and a strong win. It worked out just fine for Reed though, when he ran a TX No 1 performance with a time of 8:51.87 after battling it out with Alex Maier. All season long Reed and Alex battle it out throughout regular meets and this was no difference. Until the final stretch, Reed and Alex were side by side fighting for the victory. Reed's final kick was strong just enough to put him in the No 1 spot over Alex by just 0.43 seconds.
